Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan (SV) is one of Sweden's largest study associations, with operations in all municipalities in Sweden. We offer creative meeting places that give people opportunities for knowledge, education, and civic engagement. When you work within SV, you are also involved in contributing to a democratic and sustainable society.
About the job"Inclusion to Work" is an ESF project aimed at creating new pathways to employment for people who are currently far from the labor market.
The target group often finds themselves caught between healthcare, social services, and the labor market, lacking a context where motivation, structure, and confidence in their own abilities can be built.
The project is carried out in close collaboration with Region Gotland and other actors, leveraging the strengths of adult education in creating inclusive, developmental, and secure environments.
The responsibilities include, among other things:
As a project employee and mentor, you work strategically and operationally with participants' path toward standard labor market measures and ultimately employment or studies. The role combines individual support with operational development and collaboration.
Your mission involves:
- independently planning, prioritizing, and organizing your work
- supporting participants in building structure, motivation, and confidence in their own abilities
- identifying, developing, and implementing activities that strengthen participants' progression toward work
- acting as a link between participants and collaborating partners within healthcare, social services, and the labor market
- building and maintaining relationships with relevant actors
- participating in and representing the project and SV in networks and collaboration forums
The role is under development, and you will help shape both the content and working methods of the project. This means you will contribute to developing the role based on the project's needs, facilitate effective collaboration between different actors, and identify areas for development through experience, follow-up, and environmental scanning. The work requires a high degree of independence and the ability to understand and navigate complex structures.
Your profileWe are looking for you who have a strong belief in people's ability to develop, see resources and opportunities rather than obstacles, and have perseverance in change processes that take time. You can combine a supportive approach with a clear direction toward work.
We are looking for you who have:
- post-secondary education in fields such as social work, pedagogy, behavioral science, or education and experience that the employer considers equivalent
- experience working with people in vulnerable life situations
- ability to work independently, structured, and goal-oriented
- driver's license and access to a personal car
Meritorious qualifications include:
- experience with labor market measures or work-oriented rehabilitation
- experience in collaboration between authorities and organizations
- experience in adult education or the non-profit sector
- training in Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- a meaningful job where you make a difference for society and its citizens
- stimulating and varied tasks
- great freedom to organize your own work within given frameworks
- goal-oriented working hours, meaning you have the freedom to schedule your work time based on the job's requirements
- work in an organization with a non-hierarchical and friendly team that is happy to share their knowledge
- fixed-term employment until 2027-12-31, with the possibility of extension. We apply a 6-month initial probationary period
- scope: 50% with the possibility of expansion over time as the project develops
- location: Hemse (Gotland)
- start date: 2026-09-01 or as agreed
